Hello. I'm Jeff Bushman.
These days, if you're in business and don't have a web page, you might not be in business for long, especially if you need your product or service purchased by a fairly large number of consumers or companies.
You already knew that, of course.
What you may not know is that if you have a website and you're not blogging, you're missing a great opportunity for more business.
Let me explain myself.
E-mail marketing is annoying and most people pay no attention, but if you have a group of customers or potential customers whose e-mail addresses you have, you can write a blog (if you don't think you could write it, see below) about every 2 weeks, and send those folks an e-mail giving them the link to your blog. This is a lot less annoying and therefore, a lot more effective.
One of the reasons that blogging is important has to do with what's called "Search Engine Optimization." There are companies that will charge you about a thousand dollars to get your website moved up on Google and other search engines.
Once in a great while it works.
But SEO as it's called, attempts to fool the automated "crawlers" that Google uses and if it doesn't work, your position is moved down further than it would've been without the effort.
So why does blogging work?
One of the ways that your website moves up on Google is to be linked to by other websites. That includes having links to your website in your own blog.
Another advantage to blogging is that it gives you a chance to engage with your contact list on a regular basis.
If you can write in your blog about both your business and matters which affect your customers and are only related to your business, there's a reason for them to be interested in what you have to say, whether they have a need for your products now or not.
By being able to speak generally without obvious sales pitches, you'll engage them without them feeling "hustled."
Finally, blogging on your subject makes you the expert you want to appear to be in customers' eyes.
If you don't feel comfortable writing your own blog, there's some good news. I'll do it for you, and the cost will be determined by you.
I can do it inexpensively or really inexpensively. As said, you get to choose which. Again, explanation would probably be a good idea.
I'll do it inexpensively (especially for what you're getting) by charging $100.00 per blog. That's only $200.00 per month, assuming you have me write your blog with the frequency that I recommend.
I'll do it really inexpensively -- $30.00 per blog -- if you let me put my links in front of your customers as well. Obviously that would be only $60.00 per month. My links won't be anything that will offend your customers and they'll be in a section near the end, called "Links We Like." Any of your customers who link to my sites (we do just one link per blog "episode") will see the book I wrote, my radio program or my tee-shirt site. It's your blog, so in that section we can also add vendors or customers of yours, should you wish.
You tell me what to write about, I write, you tell me what needs changing, we do that and we make it accessible to everyone.
As you can see, a blog can be a pretty powerful tool.
Finally, on the subject of my credentials, besides my book, I have a monthly column in Scottsdale Health Magazine, which you can go to if you wish at http://www.allyouneedforhappiness.com. I've been writing for years and have had my writing published in a variety of publications, including Women's Sports and Fitness, Woodmen of the World Magazine, World Radio Magazine, and American Survival Guide. There are others, but that should give you an idea.
So, let's briefly review: a very inexpensive way to engage with actual and potential customers, making your website rise closer to the top when someone searches for a business of your type on Google and other search engines, and making more sales, all for $60.00 a month (or $200.00/month without my links), and you can quit whenever you like (I make that offer because I don't think you'll want to - you didn't think I was stupid, did you?), all done by a professional writer.

I'll look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for reading.
